Prefer my stainless MegaPot. Easy to find and easier to handle. Comes with a fitted lid. I paid
the same price for my pot as I did my keg. Just an option

I've had the best experience with using spirals. There are several suppliers for these. I
generally soak them in my bourbon from brew day until it's time to add when moving to
    secondary. I like a medi...

1450 is the only yeast I use in my Am Brown. I also used it in an Imperial Stout and it's also
fantastic. As far as styles....I would use this in anything that you want a full mouth feel.

Made my own and mine is 10" in dia. Works better than I anticipated and can't imagine anything

I will add that hose water in the CFC doesn't work too well most of the year. I use hose water
in my CFC to get the wort to about 90. I have a tee on my CFC to also have a small submersible
    pump in a ...

This basically my set-up. I have a tee exiting my MT and 2 ball valves. I recirc and at
mashout, I keep recirculating and crack my kettle tube so it is sort of like flysparging.

  • Posted in thread: What would you buy? on 02-09-2013 at 01:52 PM
Depends on what you have. If I didn't have a structure with a pump....This one be #1 for

    are rate as a be...

  • Posted in thread: Adjusting Monster Mill 2.0 on 01-03-2013 at 01:45 PM
When I first setup my MM-3, I used different settings and marked the end plate with a Sharpe so
I wouldn't have to use the gauges again. I started at .030 and went up to .045. Fred was easy
    to deal wi...
