Yeah I think I know which thread u r talking about. Basically dip ur bottles for 10 min into a
190 F water. I'm just afraid they might blow up.

I'm gonna try to sweeten cider too. Is the plastic bottle is to help to read right carbonation?
I've heard about ciders carbing in 3 hours. How were u gonna pasteurize it ?

I did one couple weeks ago with 1 lb of sugar to 5 gal of cider using Notty. I'm definitely
adding more cider and some sugar to sweeten it up. Maybe even some lactose

If you had any simple sugar in the recipe you could add it later in fermentation. That will
make yeast eat up complex sugars first and make ur beer drier

I think the yeast in LFDM is not the same yeast they ferment with. But you can get the yeast
from Wyeast .. it's currently one of their Private Collection ( I got 2 packs )
