all grain batches in my garage which is about a 5-6 hour brew day. So here's my idea for a
    short brew day ...

^^^Agreed. And the only really important gauge is in your mouth anyway. If your process is good

do you use hearts brew supply on north edgewater drive?

through the years i have used them as well as a brew supply in daytona beach. the daytona store closed due to illness.
another opened in NSB. less customer oriented than the former daytona store. since going A.G. I use hearts 98% of the time. these guys ARE award winning home brewers, and their grain prices are better!

FYI: if you need a CO2 bottle refilled FLORIDA CARBONIC on divison street just off OBT is the place to go....nice folks.

cheers
