Ideally, you'd have the fan in the fridge come on before the compressor runs and then for a
while after if turns off.You could also put a fan on the compressor coil (if they are exposed)
of the fridge...

It used to be (and may still be) that you can only get the Two Brothers sampler case at Costco.
I know they have it at the one in Bolingbrook IL.

You'll only need a few quarts of the hot water to preheat the mash tun, not the whole volume.
At least that's what I do.
