  • Have been interested in brewing since before I could drink. I have a serious desire to know how things work and like to do things myself, particularly when it comes to food and drink. Did a little brewing in my early 20s(about 20 years ago) but didn't like washing bottles so kept it mostly to the occasional batch of wine until around January 2012. Then my SOWMBO said I could use the spare fridge in the garage for brewing. I bought a 2 keg system from midwest with my tax return and dove in head first. The garage is quickly becoming quite the little brew house.

Really nice work, man. I've been looking for an example of a coffin that says poopoo to the
cold air circulation thing, I wouldn't think it's necessary either. And I would imagine it
    really kills the ...

very very niceThanks! Last night I got 3 of the doors on and managed to take a picture that is
a touch less blurry. You can see the blue in the light fixtures better. Tonight, stop by lowes
    for a mirr...

I will see what I can do with the pics... not as easy with it all together though. The ghosts
    are Fox and Dana ;-)

Thanks. It is a dark walnut stain on pine. They are just standard 1by8s from Lowes.

Here is a pic mid conversion... the top was mostly done but hadn't switched the lines yet.

I just built the top and glued it right on top of the keezer lid. The collar is still there. I
used the same taps, just covered the holes with some tape for now. Will find a better solution
    eventually...

I got the lights quite a while ago on a whim when I first started thinking about building a
keezer. I don't recall exactly where but it was someplace cheap, possibly harbor freight. It
    was a 12" strip...
