Hello,
My name is Bryan and I'm a Navy Helicopter pilot who has been into homebrewing for about a year now. I was introduced to it by a friend who is also a navy helo pilot, and I just love brewing. I have done about 15 extract brews, but I'm about to embark upon my first all grain attempt. I have just ordered my mash tun and Im very excited!
Would love to chat with others brewers in the area or elsewhere. My e-mail is: bryanpeeples@yahoo.com. - brewing, flying

I just tried this last night - it's awesome, possibly my best brew yet. I used Safale 04

I think you will be just fine. If worst comes to worst and you find out later that you do have
an infection, you can dump it then but might as well wait and see. I bet you get a decent beer
out of it.Posted in thread: I'm a big boy now!!! on 03-09-2013 at 02:45 PM
Congrats on the first all grain! Don't stress the boil-over, happens to me about half the time.

I use whirlfloc during the boil and knox gelatin added to the carboy about 4 days before
bottling. Works great, the beer comes out super clear. There's a thread somewhere on this site
