- I have been brewing beer for about 25 years. Started with extract batches, and bottled them. A few batches with partial mashing. I can't remember when, But I finally stepped up to all grain batches. Still bottled them too. A few years ago, I upgraded to kegging my beer. Much nicer !!! I have since acquired several 5 gallon Cornelius kegs, and even a few Coke CO2 cylinders. 20 pounders. Lots of co2, for lots of beer. Unfortunately most of them I can't get filled due to litigation with CCE.

Formulating a Mead of some type. I haven't decided exactly what just yeast. I need to see how much honey I still have.
I have all the grains ready for an Oktoberfest, that I have done in the past, and really turned out good.
Also have a Sam's Utopia clone in the primary, still, and has stalled.
Lots of stuff going on with SWMBO, wedding in June, 2011. - Lots of different ciders and cysers.

Mackeson XXX Stout Clone, Westlevern 12 clone. Going to force carb, and make a beer gun to bottle these.
Also, I just kegged my second batch of Old Speckled Hen Clone. The first half batch turned out great. - Male

Typically frozen fruits are good just the way they are. I usually freeze my fruits before using
them. This helps in breaking down the cellular walls, so the natural sugars can be more easily
released....Posted in thread: Sam Adams Utopias....Worth it?? on 11-16-2012 at 01:10 PM
My wife got me a bottle for my 50th B-day. It was a '10, and was quite different, but

It depends on what temp you are trying to achieve. I typically only use a swamp cooler during
the summer months, when I have decided to brew a lager and need the cooler temps.I usually run

I don't have my notes with me, but I brewed that small barleywine I talked about. It had a SG
