The Brett C batch has a pellicle on it? That seems odd. Brett C is a yeast strain with no
bacteria in it. I was under the impression that yeast did not form a pellicle. I would sample
    all three and ta...

1/2" NPT threaded thermowell w/ a 1/2" NPT nut and o-ring. I siliconed the temp sensor directly

Well, I came in short on my pre-boil gravity so I sparged a bit to much to compensate and am

affected by dust or turbulance. I would think that foam would not be an issue but if your using

Ok so then I suppose my question is now, can I re-pitch my washed yeast I took from the
primary?Yes. I would also re-aerate the unfinished wort a little bit to help the yeast along.

Nice! I'm so glad you posted this recipe. This is my favorite american red ale but can only
find it when I go to NM!
