Well you could always get a hydrometer and just let it sit in the meantime. If the fermentation
didn't have a long lag time you can prob assume its done. But without a reading its really all

I'd second replacing the sugar with grains and mashing low and slow to dry it out. I can almost
guarantee New Belgium doesn't dump table sugar into their IPA

Plastic all the way. I dont really worry about scratches much since I just use a soft towel to
clean them out and nothing really goes in them that will scratch the bucket. Also a good bleach
