    ABOUT ME

  • I am looking fir a few good "base" recipies... Once I find a few I like I can start to mess with them to make them mine? If you have any suggestions I would take them (I find myself leaninig to dark flavorful brews, and of course I like high content)

  • I started Brewing with a buddy about 2 years ago. We had NO CLUE but have been learning as we go. I have had mostly pretty good recipies... one major flop (it hurt to drink).

    Currently I bottle everything but would like to try kegging

    I do rinse it... And soak it in San star. I usually pressurize and rince through one gallon of
    water, then do it again with a gallon of San star to clear the tubing and faucet.What I was

    I have now used my 5 gallon kegging system for 5 batches. Between each batch I sanitize with
    san star. I feel like every couple of batches I need to do a very thorough cleaning so "tastes"
    aren't left...

    2 questions...1) the original recipe called for DME... do you have to boil that or just add it
