    ABOUT ME

  • I am still a brewing noob in my own opinion. I've been brewing since February 2012, and after 4 or 5 extract batches (some turned out good, others not so much), I've moved on to all-grain. Right now I do AG full-volume BIAB in a keggle with a KAB4 Banjo Burner. I have 2 more 15.5gal kegs that I plan on cutting and turning into a MLT and HLT eventually.rnrnI am also building a 12.9cu.ft. keezer with a full wooden top and 3 SS Perlick taps. I plan on eventually expanding to as many as 6-8 taps as I am able to.rnrnMy current main hobby up to this point has been fish keeping, but I have started making more room in the house (and budget) for beer brewing. I really enjoy the process, and you can't beat the fact that when you're done, you have really good beer to drink. Win win, right?rnrnI have a wonderful wife. She is very patient and allows me my hobby obsessions. If only she liked to drink beer...

  • I got into home-brewing in Feb. 2012. My sister-in-law had bought my brother a kit from Mr. Beer for his birthday the previous year, and decided to get me one to start some friendly brotherly competition.rnrnI've since moved on from the Mr. Beer kit and into All-Grain brewing with a keggle.

Yeah, that's where I got the structural idea for the dome originally. Unfortunately for a 15'
dome they wanted almost $6,000! Really?! Wow! I guess if you actually get a specific quote

That bathroom ceiling gives me a headache just looking at it... Very ambitious. Can't wait to
see what you do with the dome over the staircase!

eanmcnulty,It depends on what kind of mini-fridge you use. If you buy the one with external
coils mounted on the back, then it shouldn't be an issue if you enclose the sides of the
    fridge. If there ar...
