Well I finally tapped my keg of chocolate milk stout. It was not ruined. Flavors a bit muted

Very near to none. Maybe 1/16th of an inch and taking in to account the grain's displacement

Hey is there any reason why I can't use 1/4" copper tubing with a cap as a temp thermawell in

I just racked a milk chocolate stout from my boil kettle onto about a gallon of diluted star

and I wasn't even drinking, just not thinking. This was a chocolate milk stout and I lost track
of what I was doing and before I knew it I had already run about 2.5 gallons of my stout

I just used this yeast in a recipe I made up and fermented at 67. Very light esters. I think
you should be able to escape strong banana ester if you stay around that number.
