  • The first homebrew I made was a Bock extract. I dont remember how how the idea of making my own beer entered my brain at the time, but I'm sure glad it did! I remember making the bock at my uncle's farmhouse in a turkey fryer pot that I had aquired from another (deceased) relative. We bottled in returnable Old Mil Bottles. From that day on I havent looked back. Buying better equipment little by little along the way. Now the proud part owner in a top tier and just built my own four tap chest freezer kegerator. Made some really bad batches, but for that one that you just nail...man, it makes it all worth it. In 2012 after much debate, my Brewery was named "Hank and Olly's Brauhaus"
