Hi Everyone,

I am new to homebrew... I made my first batch last week, and while it doesn't taste BAD, it does have a strange taste that I am attributing to the yeast.

Anyone have experience with these kits? Is it the yeast?? Or is it just a crappy rootbeer??

Recipes 

Yeast-carbonated root beer definitely has a different taste from what you'd get commercially. Give it a couple weeks in the fridge to settle out and it will taste better.

Well, a couple weeks in the fridge and it tastes like root beer-beer. More alcoholic
Now.

I wonder if better yeast would have helped?? I hear the yeast with MB is very generic and not the best.
