Default Mr. Beer keg for making soda?

Can I use my Mr. Beer keg to make soda instead of using the 2 liter plastic bottles?

Soda requires much higher carbonation levels, 3 or 4 times as high as for beer. I don't think a Mr. Beer can handle that much pressure.

The Mr Beer keg isn't even used to carbonate beer. The carbonation is done in the bottle.

yeah you are correct...my fault.

I read a little about carbonating by just pouring extract into seltzer water...was thinking of trying that and see how that goes.
