Default Mouth feel and preservative

I am new to soda making, but Ifound these at the lhbs

for a preservative

for the mouth feel anyone tried either of these or have better ideas?

I would think that some kind of gum would go further towards mouthfeel. Like guar gum or xanthan gum or something.

Guar gum can be found cheap, and even organic. you shouldn't need much.

I don't know about preservatives.
