Cherry Cola?
 

Hey everyone, I'm planning n making my dad some Cherry Cola to celebrate 6 months of sobriety (he was a raging alcoholic for a loooong time.)

Does anyone have a good recipe for a cherry cola/Dr. Pepper type drink?? Many thanks!

To keep it simple we add a shot of sour cherry syrup from an ethnic store or make up a 1 cup concentrated less sweet Cherry Koolaid syrup and add to taste to a regular coke.

Almond extract is found in a number of award winning cherry pie recipes. Try a few drops of almond extract in a regular coke, it tastes similar to the "cherry pie" flavor we associate with cherry coke.
