pre-mix is nothing more than post-mix syrup mixed with water. that's why it's called pre-mix......
yes, you can mix syrup and water together in a corny and force carbonate. most syrups are a 5:1 ratio (5 parts water, 1 part syrup), diet syrups are usually a 5.5:1 ratio but it will specify on the bib box what the mixing ratio should be. for 5:1, 3 quarts syrup and 15 quarts water in a 5-gallon corny works well. |
