Default White BUGS

**SORRY!! NO PICS!!**

I thought at first downey mildew, but they appear to be little bugs. When I got them off, there was really no tissue damage under them, but the leaves in general looked a little brown and not so Healthy.

This is on a Northern Brewer Bine.

My Cascade that is 3 feet away has no bugs whatsoever.

Sounds like Aphids or Mites:

I am guessing Mites.

Thanks! I used pepper spray and soap. We will see if it works.

Aphids will be small white bugs on the underside of the leaves. As they age, they'll grow wings...and you'll see them collecting at the top of the plant, attached to the bottom of the newest leaves.

Pyrethrum is failrly effective. Lady bugs and soap didn't work for me. Stay on top of them, they can spread quickly and kill your plants.
