Default What do i need to do with my hops plants

I live in the North East and grew some Brewers Gold and Cascade Hops this summer.

Is there anything I need to do with the root system before the spring orniver this winter?

Not a thing, but don't be surprised when shoots come up a meter or more from the original plants.

Can I dig them up and cut the roots back?
