My 1st year hops did not grow at all. I am sure it was my fault for not paying more attention to them so next year I will do a much better job. I do however want to move them to another area and I am wondering if it would be better to di it now or wait until spring.

They didn't come up at all or didn't produce any cones? If they didn't come up, you'd be better off buying new next year. If they grew but didn't produce anything(mine didn't either), you should move them in the spring. Just my opinion, based on nothing.

What type? MOst varaities do not do well the first year and the fact that it gre..leave it alone becasue next year will be much better..

leave unless you have to move.
