Default Local Ontario Hop Supplier

Hi HBT'ers
I have wanted to grow my own hop's this year.
The closest supplier on the internet was Crannogales out in British Columbia. I was talking to the neighbor and she knew of a local supplier Richters
scroll down to hop section
So I decided to place an order for 3 Cascade and 3 Hallertauer

The hop are potted plants and it came out to $51.42 with shipping

The nice lady who took my order informed there was a 3 week delay in shipping..this was on Monday.

I just talked with the lady who helped with my order concerning the lateness in the season. She informed that all hop orders are currently closed for this year. I decided it would be more prudent to hold the order off till spring of next year.

Hopefully the hop shortage will rebound shortly

Cheers

Several place open sales in March and most are usually sold out by April.

Rhizomes should be planted in spring. Plants can be planted any time during the summer.
