Recipes 

My 2nd year centennial hops are about 6ft plus already and some of the newer leaves have these brown streaks on them. I was wondering if anyone can help me diagnosis and help cure it before it becomes a huge problem.

Check the underside, any aphids? Any sign of spider mites? Check out this site http://ipm.wsu.edu/field/pdf/HopHandbook2010.pdf Tons of info and pics of disease and pest infestation. My color blind $ss can't make out what you are talking about in those pics. SO unfortunately this is all the help I can be.

You know i did check underneath and found a few aphids sprayed them and they are gone but the other leaves didn't have any aphids.

man, your in Ohio and your 2nd year hops are already 6ft high? How is that? I'm in NC and we've had a warmer than usual March, and my 2nd year hops are only a foot tall at most. I mean, they started sprouting in feburary as soon as it was above 70's during the day. Just don't see how Ohio could have been warmer. When did they start sprouting?

Well I put five gallon buckets over them for the winter they are planted close to my house and they are facing south. They started coming up about mid February. And a little love with compost/manure. It also has been a very mild winter. Other then that im not sure. I just know im 6ft tall and they are over my head.
