Default How do you store rhizomes?

This may seem like a pretty basic question, but I just ordered a few rhizomes and we've got 2 feet of snow on the ground here so I need to know how to store them for spring. It would have made more sense to order them closer to spring, but they sell out quite quickly. Growing hops (or anything for that matter) is completely new to me. Thanks in advance for any responses.

Just put a moist paper towel around them and drop them in a plastic baggie in the fridge until you are ready to plant.

You want there to be lots of air in the bag in the fridge. Also, you should change the air every few days for best results.

Mulch or soil can be used rather than the paper towel, they work about the same.

Some people even plant their hops in a big pot of soil and let it grow inside until they can bring it out.
