Default Hops already sprouting, snow on the ground...

So out of 3 rhizomes last year, only one lived through the summer and gave me hops. This year, it's already sprouted and going ape****:

I still have snow on the ground in places! Anything I should do right away? Fertilizer already? Water it? I think I wait until it has 1' long bines before cutting back to the 3 biggest, right?

Right on bine length and there isn't any advantage to doing anything else right away.

Cascade, by the way?

Thanks David. Centennial actually. I planted Cascade, Centennial, and Horizon last year. Horizon were DOA, Cascades sprouted about 3 inches, then died when we had a hot spell for 3 days and I was out of town, (unable to water). Centennials were already about 5 inches during the hot spell, and weathered it fine.
