Need some help diagnosing this...

how do the tops of the leaves look? Are they green like the small one next to it on the right? do you have more pics? i don't see any webbing that would indicate spider mites. has it been super hot in new york? to check for spider mites or other tiny bugs cut a leaf off and tap it over a white piece of paper in bright light. if you see lots of little reddish dots moving around it could be spider mites.

Cones look nice and healthy and the leaf itself looks pretty good too. How is the rest of the plant? Does it look stressed? Are there leaves falling off?
