Default green hops

like green beer....

i've got a nugget and magnum vine that both have hops as big as me thumb. i've plucked a hop off here and there and just chewed it like i do the hops when i brew. they have an overwhelming bitter/green taste just like beer does when you tap it too soon.

i know this will mellow as the hop drys, just as the beer ages, but it's cool to see the parallel between the new hop and the new brew...

anyone else experience this?

A barrel of malt, a bushel of hops, you stir it around with a stick
The kind of lubrication to make your engine tick

never argue with an idiot, they'll just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
