free rhizomes.. well to me that is

Got a couple of free rhizomes and was wondering what to do with them. Should I plant them to get some growth? Freeze them, eat them... what say you?

I want to see you freeze them then eat then but everyone else will recomend you put them in the ground as soon as possible.

I live in Delaware, so it should be nice for quite a while... we shall see what happens

Assume year one is prepping you for year two. Planting them now, consider this half a year. Your plants will be stronger than a year one spring planted hop but maybe not as strong as a year two plant.

well... got them today in the mail... They look dead... Of course they were free, my buddy did say he got them a while ago and never planted them.... Gonna throw them in the dirt and see what happens anyways... Got two cascades and one crystal I think, cant read the label that well... But MY cascades are doing awesome... Was telling the wife we should turn the backyard into a little hop farm... :-)
