Default center of hop cone color

hey i was just wondering if its cool that a few of my hop cones are slightly brown in the very center of the cone, like the outside is a light green and they feel right and smell nice but if i peel back the leaf a bit i can see a browning in the center on a few of them.thanks.

Maybe it's me but I think those are still too green for harvest.

Those babies look fine to me, but a bit young.

I'm jealous. We're having a super-cold summer out here in the Pacific Northwest. I might not even get a harvest out of my vines. I have no cones at all still and my crowns are 10+ years old and typically very productive.

Looks kinda dark to me... other than that I honestly do not see anything wrong. Perhaps a little young?
