Default Can I still pick hops?

It's Nov 2nd! I might have a place to pick some hops for free, but it's a ways away for me (and gas is pricey and I hate hate hate driving anywhere). Do you think it's worth driving to look at the hops or do you think they're toast by now? I don't think we've had a freeze yet here in Seattle. I read that if they're not entirely brown than they're still ok. Can some one lend some sage advice pretty please !?!?

I just pulled the last of mine off the vines today. Of course I am in Arkansas, so the weather is a good bit warmer here. You definitely don't want them totally brown, but I've had a few of mine a little brown around the edges and they seemed fine.

Primary: Burned Mead
Secondary: Bourbon Barrel Porter
Bottled: More Bourbon Barrel Porter, New Pekin Common, Flat Tail Old Ale, Bad Monkey Banana Wine, Flanders Red, Pumpkin Ale
Drinking: Too Much
On deck: Something crazy to use up the 3+ pounds of hops sitting in my freezer
