Default Beer garden

New to Fitzwilliam, NH. Looking to do a garden this coming spring 2012 to cater at least to some of my potions and additives if not bite the bullet and start whole grain process and at least supplement that. Any suggestions and or likes/dislikes for a backyard beer garden? (hops are already in the ground from last summer)

I grew basil and lavender last summer which I've used to make tinctures (soaked in vodka) which can be added to beers.

Lemon Balm, works great in cream ale, it also draws in bees to help pollinate other veggies.
