I have those ladybird larvae, which is good as I've been trying to conrol the aphids, my question is how do you get rid of the ladybirds when you are trying to harvest. They seem to hang out in the cones and shed a layer of skin/shell on the cones. Any thoughts?
Just looking at that picture I believe the ladybird larvae is eating an aphid, or it just caught one anyways. She needs to grab the other two on the right side of the picture too. Go ladybird go - kill all those f'rs.

Haa! I didn't see those two aphids on the right when I first saw this thread. Good eyes!
