After seeing the several people already harvesting their hops this year, I figured we should keep track of the collective HBT harvest.

Measure your Dry Yield in oz and add it to the running total. All hop varieties are accepted, just name the variety in your post. Round to the nearest tenth. If you are estimating, use a 5:1 wet to dry ratio. Let's see how much of a harvest we get this year. As always pics are encouraged.

I have several burrs, so it will be a while before any harvest. Were starting a 0.0 oz.

3.2 oz dry Sunbeam, with another butt load of cones forming lower on the plant. Looks like I get to make more Sunbeam Blonde! Thanks mom! (she grows too.) the Willamette she has growing is making waves as well, just not ready yet. My Cascade Chinook and CTZ are all spurs, and Nugget is still growing, per the norm.

3.2 oz.

17oz. Chinook and 4.4oz. Cascade.

24.6 oz. Total

The Willamette went south. All burrs dried up. I think it's dead. I'm not going to harvest the rest of the Sunbeam, as I don't need it with all the other varieties I'm growing. I still have Nugget and CTZ, all are larger plants than the Chinook. It's going to be a good year!

11 oz centennial dried. I've been surprised every year because they have a strong aroma but it doesn't have the big citrus punch I would have expected.

35.6 total

33 ounces of Cascade ( I was expecting a lot more. Damn you spider mites, damn you!)

33 ounces + 75.6 = 108.6 ounces

Hallertauer 4oz
Cascade 10oz
Centennial 11oz
Made a nice saison with they hallertauer still fermenting and did a fresh hop yesterday with a combination of centennial and cascade. 135.3+ 25= 160.3

1 cascade rhizome ... 9oz dry
1 cenntennial rhizome....9.5 oz dry
So far still have tons of cones almost ready to pick.... Oh yea first year ImageUploadedByHome Brew1409789834.466723.jpgImageUploadedByHome Brew1409789880.402807.jpg

Including Sukkafree's 18.5 above running total 199.8 oz.

I got 46 oz dry from 7 first year Cascades, much watering and bine training, and picking Japanese beetles by the gross. Running Total 245.8 oz

44 oz. split pretty evenly between Centennial and Cascade, 3rd year bines, 2 of each variety.

245.8 +44=289.8 as the running total

3rd-year bines gave me about double last year's yield:

Cascade: 35.5 oz.
Centennial: 19 oz.
Chinook: 61 oz
Mt. Hood: 35 oz.
Sterling: 12 oz.
Fuggle: 7.5 oz

Total 170 oz., running total 459.8 oz.

Magnums are harvested, dried, and bagged. Two second year plants: 67.75 oz.
Centennial, Cascade, and a few Willamette yet to come in.

Running total: 527.55 oz

511.75 +

19 ounces of Centennial
26 ounces of Chinook
29 ounces of Cascade
7 ounces of Fuggles

= 592.75 rollin' ounces

I'm totally at capacity again.
There's a couple of cubic feet of cones in there...

Cheers! :mug:

I admit I didnt weigh it. Was s so excited about the first harvest! Can an experienced grower give me an estimate so I can add it to the total?
