First year harvest and had some decent producers. Ended up with some Cascade, centennial, Chinook, Columbus and Willamette.

Went for a 'C' hop pale ale, sort of mirror pond inspired I suppose. Should be kegging it on Sunday and it should be tasty!

U dry em or use em green? Hope u did not use green for the 60 min boil. will probably have a nasty grassy taste if you did. 30min->0 should be fantastic. hope it turnes out well. kinda sad i did not get to use any of my hops this year(all though they all went to a fellow hbt member). hope it turns out as good as it sounds.

Na I did fresh hops for the whole thing. Post boil gravity sample tasted really good! I used my centennials for bittering as they were left on the bine a bit longer perhaps and was starting to dry out.

Nice, how tall did they grow ? I made that Pale Ale and used Amarillo hops and man I loved that. Going to make that soon, More DK IPA today.

The Willamette, first picture, reached the top which is probably sitting at 18ish feet. I'm excited for next year for a little more productive plants. I didn't fertilize this year and I think next year I'll make a better effort to fertilize and weed and all that good stuff.

Ya mine went 15 plus this year to for the first year. I did 10-10-10 3 times and watered about every day. Next year is gona be a butt load

Curious how this will turn out for you.

I made a fresh (but dried) hop IPA from hops given to me. It was a very hot and dry summer here in Nebraska, so I think that is part of my problem. Slightly too bitter (3/4oz @ 60min), and really grassy. Only 1oz dry hopped for 8 days. It was grassy before that...

BTW, my little sister lives in Corvallis. I really need to visit, but with a 17mo old and one on the way, it's tough.
