Default Wine and mead cellar

About half wine and half mead with a case of 22 oz crown cap braggot at the bottom. My wife originally claimed this small room off our basement as a food pantry. I moved in and have been encroaching on her space.

That's a beautiful thing. Is that dresser full of wine too?

I’m jealous. That’s a pretty sweet stash you have there.

No, All the shelves to the rear of the photo (with the exception of a modest stash of distilled spirits) are devoted to food and the dresser is full of pancit Canton (Filipino noodles). Hey - I had to make a few concessions! The blue plastic tote behind the carboys, though, is full of mead I "hid" from myself to open in a couple of years.

That's a Hungarian oak barrel that holds a little over 5 gallons. It cost me $144 delivered. This one holds a Super Tuscan red wine but I bought another one that holds about 7 gallons I plan to put a spiced white pyment into for a couple of months.
