Default A watched pot never boils over (unless your snapping a pic)

I was brewing a batch of AG newfie nut brown and thought the recent snowfall in the background would make a nice shot. As I clicked the picture I looked up and realized I had a full blown boil over. The pic just caught the verge. What a mess

Man that suck , me and my roomy brewed a bath this weekend and we had 3 friends and my room watching the pot and still had a 1/4 gallon boil over right in front of them haha. Wasn't a big deal , wonder how much a small boil over affects OG ?
