I live in the Rochester New York area, is there anyone around here that would like to do something like this?

I was one of the seven that day. I'm new on this site. That was my 6th batch ever and it was great to get advice from some of the more veteran guys (DubbelDach, Jaysus). Even greater to suck on all the tasty beers all the fellas brought. That could be a whole 'nother thread.

I use a moving blanket over my MLT. One of these days I'm going to finally fill that sucker with Great Stuff, the top that is.

Jezter,

I might take you up on that idea. You've been to my place and it is only an hour ride for me. Gives me a good excuse to stop at Wells, it has been a long time since I've been there.

A great idea that's on my list as well. I have a big list though, so Mexi-blanket it is for now!

And the fruits of our labor....

SOGO_Brewfest pictures by shiplax27 - Photobucket

We got together on Saturday and served 6 of the beers to our friends. Picked 5 friends to "judge" the beers as well, and awarded a shabbily made trophy cup to the winner. Was a good day!!!
