Some pics from the pub crawl and the festivities for the great american beer festival

Started at Falling Rock taphouse for Sierra Nevada's Kill-a-keg contest along with the tapping of Chico Harvest (only 3 kegs delivered to CO, and FRTP got them all). Set a new record for the keg being killed in 15min 1sec.

Best beer selection i've ever seen

Then headed over to Wynkoop since we got a free pint with our tickets. Also tried out their sampler

Went by Coors field and Sandlot.

Blue Moon Brewing Company

Stopped in at Breckenridge since i wanted to get some 471-IPA

Then headed over to Flying Dog for their FBAG party (flying dog brats and gonzo). Got to sample their newest beer, Dog Schwarz, a smoked double lager. Also got to sample other beers out of their Canis Major series.

Then went over to Great Divide because i wanted to grab some bottles of Fresh Hop ale.

You can see the barrels of the new Barrel-Aged Yeti and Barrel-Aged Ruffian. Haven't tried it yet, but I guess it goes for about $25 a bottle and it's a super limited release.

Then finally went back to the hotel and headed back out to the festival. Only took one pic since I was on a mission to try as many of the breweries I planned to.

by the time the crawl was done, i was feeling pretty buzzed. this was also trying to drink water after nearly every beer.

after going back to the hotel, relaxing and eating some more food i was good to go again. After the festival we went out to Rock Bottom

I thought I heard that Flying Dog had closed down in Colorado? Maybe I am thinking of someone else.
