Default My first all-grain brew day: Blonde Ale

Well I feel that it was a success. I missed my mash temp by only 1 degree.

Started off with a home brew while mashing.

The neighbors cat came by to see how things were going.

Wort nice and chilled.

And this is the end result.

Cant wait to taste it. I put a lot of effort and energy into this one.

Congrats!

It's a lot more work but totally worth it

Congratulations! Looks like it went more smoothly than my first all grain.

Let us know how it turns out.

Nice! Your first AG and you've already got a keg for a boil kettle. Jealous.

Yeah it was my first run with it. Its pretty tough to build when you are trying to stick rod weld instead of TIG. We had to make a patch for one spot that burned through, but everything turned out just fine.

As of this morning, I have some bubbling and krausen forming. Everything seems to be ok
