Zymurgrafi, how many volumes of CO2 are in that mild? I carbed mine to 1.6 and couldn't ever get a head.
Just for the record- those beers are NOT his mild. I'm still under the weather, so I'm not cracking his mild until I have a sense of smell and taste back. It's Dead Guy in the glasses.
Zymurgrafi- as soon as I"m 100%, I'll sample and review. I just feel that I wouldn't do it justice at this point.

Thanks for the clarification
I still think I did something wrong with my mild. People say 1.6 volumes is right for a mild, but mine tasted kinda flat. But I'm just a Philistine...

Well, 1.6 volumes would be pretty flat to us Philistines. I think that there is a volume near that of my lagers when I pull them out of secondary! That's before adding priming sugar.

Thats how a mild is supposed to be. LIGHT carbonation
Absolutely! I didn't mean to imply that it's supposed to be fizzy at all- just that those of us accustomed to American beers would think of a mild as "flat". That's exactly how they should be, as IrregularPulse said.
