Default Late July Brew Buddies

I made a low gravity summer ale this weekend. For company I had a couple of brew buddies.

First the required brew picture.

In the background you can spy our pond - where this fellow lives. His croaking has attracted him a mate and the two of them have blessed us with hundreds of tadpoles. He croaks constantly and did so the entire brew.

This guy is transient, but still welcome. It looks like he’s suffered a little damage to his wing. It doesn’t slow him down much.

Great brew buddies.

I've had several brew buddies but one of my favorites was a Praying Mantis that sat beside us and watched us with great interest through our entire brew process.
