Finally did it. May have homebrew on tap for New Years Eve!

Nice! - How efficient is that tall collar? - thinking of how to do something similar and debating cost of mini-fridge vs mini-freezer.

Cant really answer that but I would think it wouldnt be any more of an issue than any other collar. If its slightly less efficient then I guess I will just pay a little more electric....just needs to keep the beer cool!

Very nice! if you are worried about the efficiency of the wood go to Home Depot and pick up some High Density industrial foam insulation. i did that with my keezer and lined the wood on the inside with it.
