Sorry, I didn't get any pictures of the hop additions. I get easily distracted.
There are 11.5 oz total in the boil and another 5 oz dry hop!

I dig that stainless mash paddle...where's it from? My plastic spoon doesn't fare well...

I bought it a a local Restaurant Supply, Bargreen-Ellingson. You can also order them here. I drilled the holes in it myself.

I just stuck the Refractometer eye piece over the camera lense and hoped for the best.

When mashing in, I try and set the grain bed and then stir gently to mix in the grain. I don't scrape the MLT with the paddle at all. In fact I rarely even touch the bottom or sides except to smash up the occasional dough ball.
