I had to. It looked so nice

i completely forgot about this picture. I was working on some math homework the other week and decided to open up a Batch 8000. it looked pretty cool sitting there under the lamp and i was really not wanting to do this homework so i decided to take a picture. Figured id share it....and yes i know its not in the appropriate style glass.

What kind of math were you doing?

Trig. I think that it was some identities stuff.

Oh god! TRIG! That sends a cold shiver down my spine. Now for the knock out punch: differential equations!

Nice. That could be the cover of a textbook (on brewing, of course).

FWIW, I use trig ALL the time. I think I may have used calculus once since my last undergraduate math class. I'd rather do 100 pages of trig homework than a single assignment's worth of differential equations (especially multi-variate/multi-dimensional calculus).

PDEs are even more fun! And I really enjoy multi variable/vector calculus, it is fascinating.
