My previous kettle was a ss 4 gallon from dollar general. I think it was 10 bucks. I still use it for biab pm

I'm rockin a skeezy old 8.5 gallon aluminum turkey fryin pot. And it WAS used to fry a couple of turkeys!












However, I am about to buy a SS 42 QT kettle with 2 ports.

90% of us have ghetto rigs...coolers and plumbing parts? how much more ghetto can you get? At least you have a stand! I'd say you are on the higher-end of ghettoness!

Yeah....if there's a stand involved, a pump, or more than two vessels out of metal, I don't think you qualify for "ghetto"....

Other potential disqualifiers: quick disconnects, multiple burners, proper air handling, just about any sort of direct-control for fermentation temperatures, etc....
