Default Chainsaw IPA Bottling Day.

Bottling time for my IPA brewed on August 9th.

Hydro Sample

Dry-hopped (3oz), which left me with about 4.1 gallons of beer.

Who is going to clean this for me?

Used my mesh steeping bag as a hop-filter

In the bucket.

39 12 oz bottles and 1 22oz. Broke the neck off one.

Looking forward to this being ready. Can definately taste the Cascades in here. Final ABV is 7.4, and IBU's are at 75.

My lever capper did it. It was an odd bottle, I didn't see another one like it in the batch and I don't know what brand it was.

It's been six days since bottling and since I'm going to be gone tomorrow, I had to crack open a bottle today. This beer is pretty damn good at just 6days in. Nicely carbonated, excellent hop aroma and flavor (although the cascades did dominate). Looking forward to week 3.

Cracked one again tonight, just as good, maybe a bit better. I gave three of these to Brewtopia and am looking forward to his critique in another week or so.
