I ordered the Pliny pack from this link, and also used the recipe on it as well. The only difference was I used no corn sugar and substituted two row for it.

I have made it twice the first time came out good, but the second time I hit everything spot on, and it came out wonderful.

Hah, Spec's is our local mega-booze store here. As a minor chain they have some of the best wine and beer selections I've ever seen, and I've seen a few. They're just limited by TX law and other distribution limitations.

I haven't been to VA in a few years so I can't think of a similar establishment. Think of a store that looks something like your living room only bigger.

How long did it take you to drink yourself out of that corner?

Mercy.

I don't get it. I usually drink my beers. Thought that was the protocol?

We have an awesome beer store in town.. it has EVERYTHING.. well, almost everything. I chat with the owner a lot when I go in.. he will read about such-a-such microbrewery and will relentlessly pursue them to get them to ship him product. He's got beers here that no one else is able or willing to get. Super cool.

Sadly, I can't find the picture of my beer pr0n... but once I restock my pipeline/beer fridge downstairs, I'll try to remember to post a pic. :-)

I drink my beers too, but I like to see how they develop with a couple of years on them! Hokie, I work from 1:30 PM to 1:00 AM 4 days on 4 days off if you are wondering how I was able to do that on a Tuesday afternoon!
