Default Attack of the yeast starter!

I've never had a starter go this crazy on me. I started out with a big jar of washed yeast and a quart of 1.040 wort. That sucker started real quick... and I woke up to a prop from a bad 60's horror flick.

The wheat yeasts seem to do that to me. All I used was DME or some pale ale late runnings I freeze to use. Made an unholy mess and almost fried my stir plate. Luckily I fixed it.
