Default Trying to Download, BeerSmith, simple Question...

So, I am going to download Beersmith. First of all, is there any Pros to the self extracting file vs. the zipped file? Secondly, I just tried to download the self extracted file, but it asked me if I wanted to Run or Save the program. Which one do I want to do, Run or Save?

Save it to your desktop and run the .exe file from there. The .exe file will set up all of the other files and directories in their appropriate places.
