Recipes 

C:\Users\*your username*\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\ProMash\recipes (get ur dos commands out)

I had to goto the command prompt to find my rec files & manually transfer them.
I then changed the directory where it is saving to that seemed to fix the issued

I went to options
systems settings
defualt file folders
(this is where i ran into another issue vista kept shutting down the software)
I clicked on automatically save folders from last save/load/export
then i clicked ok
I then clicked ok again
opened up a recipe from my new folder
I minimized the recipe
I went back into options
systems settings
click save as default
I went back into default file folders
unclicked save folders from last save/load/export
clicked ok twice to get back to main menu
good to go
